LinkedIn Company Page Image Specifications

This is the summary sheet for LinkedIn company page images: the banner across the top of your page, the square logo and profile picture that travel with every post, and the image sizes your page shares in the feed. Each row gives the recommended size, the aspect ratio and the thing that most often goes wrong, and links to the full guide.

Company page image specifications

Every asset a company page uses, with the size to export and the trap to avoid.

AssetRecommended sizeAspect ratioNotes
Company Banner1128 x 191 pxAbout 5.9:1Very shallow. Keep type central, leave the lower left clear for the logo. 2256 x 382 for retina.
Company Logo300 x 300 px1:1Minimum 268 x 268. Upload the mark rather than a wide wordmark — it renders at 60 px beside posts.
Company Profile Image300 x 300 px1:1The same square as the logo. Rounded corners, so keep about 12% padding on every side.
Feed Post Image1200 x 627 px1.91:1Square 1080 x 1080 fills more of the feed. Up to 5 MB per image, nine per post.
Carousel (document post)1080 x 1080 px1:1 or 4:5Uploaded as a PDF. Portrait 1080 x 1350 takes more feed space on mobile.
Event Cover1776 x 444 px4:1Used when your page hosts an event. Sides crop in previews.
Newsletter Cover1440 x 360 px4:1Plus a 300 x 300 newsletter logo, which carries every edition in the feed.

What to export first

If you are setting a page up from scratch, do the square first. The logo and profile picture are the same 300 x 300 file, and it appears in more places than anything else you upload — beside posts, on every employee profile, in search results and in invitations.

The banner comes second. It only appears on the page itself, and at 191 pixels tall it carries a mood rather than a message. Post images are the ongoing work, and consistency there does more than any single perfect export.

  • 300 x 300 square: logo and profile picture, used everywhere.
  • 1128 x 191 banner: page header only, keep it simple.
  • 1200 x 627 or 1080 x 1080: feed posts, pick one and stay with it.
  • Re-export rather than reusing personal profile artwork.

Company pages are not profiles

The most common mistake is treating the two as interchangeable. A personal profile banner is 1584 x 396 at 4:1 and a profile photo is a circle; a company banner is 1128 x 191 at roughly 5.9:1 and the company square has rounded corners. Artwork moved across without re-exporting gets cropped badly.

If your brand needs to look the same in both places, build the design once at a generous size and export it separately for each placement.

Frequently asked questions

What image sizes does a LinkedIn company page use?
A 1128 x 191 banner, a 300 x 300 square for the logo and profile picture, and 1200 x 627 or 1080 x 1080 images for feed posts. Events and newsletters add 1776 x 444 and 1440 x 360 covers.
Are the logo and profile picture different images?
No. LinkedIn uses one 300 x 300 square for both, which is why it has to stay legible from 300 pixels down to 48.
Can I reuse personal profile images on a company page?
Not without re-exporting. The banner ratios are quite different — 4:1 for a profile, about 5.9:1 for a company page — so a direct reuse crops heavily.
What file types does LinkedIn accept for company images?
PNG and JPG for every placement. Banners can be up to 8 MB, the logo square up to 4 MB, and post images up to 5 MB each.
