LinkedIn Newsletter Cover Size

A LinkedIn newsletter uses two images: a wide cover banner at 1440 x 360 pixels and a square logo at 300 x 300. The banner sits across the top of the newsletter page and the logo travels with every edition in the feed, which makes the small square the more important of the two.

The logo does most of the work

Subscribers see the square logo beside every edition, often at well under 100 pixels. A short title, a monogram or a single strong shape stays recognisable there; a full sentence does not.

Use the wide banner for atmosphere and keep any type in the middle, since narrow layouts crop the sides.
