What to put on an event cover

The event title, date and host name already appear as text beside the cover, so repeating them in the image is wasted space. A cover works harder as a visual cue: speaker photos, a product shot or a clean colour field with your logo.

If you do add type, keep it in the central 60% of the width. Previews inside the feed and in invitations crop the sides.
