LinkedIn Company Logo Size
The LinkedIn company logo is square: 300 x 300 pixels, displayed far smaller beside your posts and in search results. That shrinking is what catches people out, because a wide wordmark squeezed into a square becomes unreadable. This page covers the recommended and minimum dimensions, transparency, file types and a guide template you can design against.

Use the mark, not the full wordmark
A horizontal logo placed inside a square leaves thick empty bands top and bottom, and the lettering ends up a few pixels tall in the feed. If your brand has a symbol or monogram, upload that instead and let the page name carry the words.
Keep roughly 10% clear on every side so the mark is not touching the edge of the frame — LinkedIn rounds the corners of the logo container in several placements.
Transparent backgrounds
A transparent PNG is accepted, and it is the right choice when your mark is dark enough to hold up on a white surface. Pale or white marks disappear against LinkedIn's light interface, and dark-mode viewers see the opposite problem, so a solid background colour baked into the square is the more predictable option.
If you do want transparency, test the file on both a white and a near-black background before uploading.

Frequently asked questions
- What size should a LinkedIn company logo be?
- 300 x 300 pixels, square, under 4 MB, as PNG or JPG.
- What is the minimum LinkedIn logo size?
- 268 x 268 pixels. Smaller squares are rejected, and anything close to the minimum looks soft in the page header.
- Can I upload a transparent logo?
- You can, but pale marks disappear against LinkedIn's white interface. Adding your own background colour is more reliable.
- Why does my logo look cropped?
- Non-square images are fitted into a square frame. Export a square version with padding built in.
- Is the logo the same as the company profile picture?
- Yes — LinkedIn uses one square image for both, which is why it has to work at 300 pixels and at 60. The company profile picture page covers where that square appears.
