LinkedIn Font Generator

Type or paste your text below, choose a style, and copy the result into LinkedIn. Everything runs in your browser โ€” no sign-up, no account, nothing stored.

Unlike single-purpose generators, this one also gives you the live post preview, character counts and the "See more" cut-off line, so you can see exactly how the styled text will land in the feed.

Decorative Unicode may be read incorrectly by screen readers and may reduce search matching. Use it for short accents, not essential information.

How the generator works

The generator maps each ordinary letter to its Unicode equivalent in the style you pick. Bold A becomes ๐—”, italic a becomes ๐˜ข, and so on. Since those are individual characters rather than formatting instructions, they survive copy and paste into LinkedIn's plain-text composer.

Select part of your draft to style just that phrase, or apply a style with nothing selected to convert the whole thing. Every action is reversible โ€” clear styling returns the text to ordinary letters.

Which style to pick

Support varies by style. Bold sans and italic sans render reliably on nearly every device and are the safest choices for a hook or a headline. Script and gothic look distinctive but are harder to read at feed size and are more likely to fall back to boxes on older devices.

  • Bold sans โ€” hooks, section labels, headline emphasis. Safest option.
  • Italic sans โ€” asides, quotes, a light touch of contrast.
  • Monospace โ€” code snippets, figures, anything that should look literal.
  • Script and gothic โ€” decorative only, and never for a whole paragraph.

Generate, then check before you post

The Formatting Health panel flags patterns that tend to backfire: an entire post in decorative characters, styling applied to searchable keywords, or a hook that gets cut off by the "See more" fold. Fix those before copying and your styled post will read as deliberate rather than gimmicky.

Frequently asked questions

Is this LinkedIn font generator free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no limit on how much text you convert, and no watermark. The conversion happens in your browser.
Will the generated text paste correctly into LinkedIn?
Yes. The output is real Unicode characters, so it pastes into posts, comments, headlines and profile sections without losing its appearance.
Does the generator store what I type?
No. Nothing is sent to a server. Close the tab and the draft is gone.
Can I use the generated text on other platforms?
Yes. The same characters work anywhere plain text is accepted, including Instagram, X, WhatsApp and Slack.
Why do some generated styles look wrong on my phone?
Your device is missing that Unicode range and substitutes a fallback glyph. Switch to bold sans or italic sans, which are supported almost everywhere.
